Description

This online course provides learners with essential knowledge and strategies to support mental health in the workplace. It begins with an overview of mental health and common mental health challenges, followed by an exploration of the impact a mentally unhealthy workplace can have on employees and organisations. Learners will examine workplace risk factors that can contribute to or exacerbate mental health issues and gain skills in recognising and responding to signs of mental ill-health in the workplace. The course also covers employer responsibilities for creating a safe and supportive work environment, while emphasising the importance of self-care for leaders to maintain their own wellbeing as they support their teams.
