Description
This online course supports aged care workers to confidently recognise, respond to and report serious incidents in line with the Serious Incident Response Scheme (SIRS) and the Aged Care Quality Standards. Ensuring the safety, dignity and rights of every person in care. Participants gain practical knowledge to identify signs of physical, sexual, psychological and financial abuse, neglect, restrictive practices and unexplained absences, understand Priority 1 and Priority 2 reporting obligations and follow lawful reporting processes through their organisation and the My Aged Care portal. This course strengthens professional accountability, promotes consumer-centred care and empowers workers to speak up with confidence, knowing they are legally protected when reporting genuine concerns.
